Heart of a Warrior
Proverbs 31:17
“She girdeth her loins with strength, and strengtheneth her arms.”
Warrior for Christ
Wait, I need to put my shoes on…
Being a women comes with a lot of responsibilities to ourselves and to our families. The concept of being a “Warrior for Christ”, can sound like we need to be military personnel or on the front lines in the Army. Being in the actual military and being a Warrior for Christ are almost the same thing, except one is spiritual and the other one is physical.
So how do we become a Warrior? You don’t have to wear chainmail, carry a sword or metal helmets like the soldiers did in the old days, but the Bible does require us to put on our “spiritual armor” to fight the devil and deal with others and situations that may not be in our best interest.
Focus
Angels will help you…
As a Proverbs 31 woman, she goes throughout her day in peace and confidence, knowing that she has a full purpose from God and that He is always there for her. Yes, we will have bad days and we will have good days. Life can take a toll on us and knock us down. So, when we feel weak and need strength, we must remember that God is protecting us at all times, and He instructs His angels to be with us constantly.
If everything else around you is falling apart and even when we fail over and over, just keep your head up and keep going. Move forward, don’t stop and you will eventually get to your destination. The plan God created for you; not the plan you created for yourself. His direction. His purpose. Focus on that! Keep your spiritual armor on at all times and don’t turn your back on the devil. Stay in peace and love. You are more than a Conqueror through Christ!
“Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.”
