Moments of Prayer

Proverbs 31:25

“Strength and honor are her clothing; and she shall rejoice in time to come.”

Power of Prayer

Are we doing enough…

  • Prayer is the most powerful thing that we as Christians can participate in. Living in a world of confusion, lack of faith and disillusion can make the average person lose hope in hard times. We all have moments in our lives when we are blinded by a particular situation either due to emotions getting in the way, or other people preventing us from seeing the truth.

  • Even in the toughest times, prayer is the best habit/practice that we can commit to. It connects us to God and keeps our Fellowship with Him growing, giving us great comfort in desperate times.

  • To know that we have a loving God that hears us when we speak and searches our hearts intimately, is nothing to take for granted. Even when no-one else is listening, God always has the time to hear us; whether we are complaining or rejoicing, He is always present.

Persecution is everywhere

Jesus knows all too well…

  • We are all emotional creatures and at times it seems like our voices aren’t being heard by others around us. That’s when God steps in. He is always interested in our problems, our tears, our anger, our loss, etc. As if He is the silent partner constantly listening and always caring. At times we feel alone and that nobody understands us and what we are going through. But Jesus does.

  • He was extremely persecuted by others around Him. If anyone knows first-hand what that is like, He does. Because of that, He will lead you, guide you, prepare you, encourage you and love you through it all. Even in our darkest moments, He is there. Nothing good is ever wasted because God sees all and knows all. If you are forgotten by everyone else, you are NOT forgotten by God. He is your advocate against all who curse you or attempt to damage your life.

So, rejoice precious one, and understand that no mountain is too hard to climb, no person, place or thing has power over you, and you are always in God’s thoughts. He is very interested in your life and your journey. He designed you and gave you breath. His love for you never ceases. You are very special. Talk to God, pray to Him daily. It will change your life and increase your level of joy, peace and understanding as He works His will in you.

“Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.”

1 Thessalonians 5:16-18
